Explore one of the local coastal tracks, a favourite being the walk to Barrenjoey Light House, offering expansive views of the ocean, past lion Island across to the central coast. Or perhaps take a run up to Kuring Gai National Park to enjoy the views from West Head. Stop by Palm Beach Golf Course to enjoy 9 holes or enjoy a bit of shopping in the nearby village of Avalon.

For those special occasions lunch or dinner can be highly recommended at the local hatted restaurant ‘Jonahs’, offering sweeping views of the ocean and Whale Beach below. ‘Dunes Restaurant’ is also another favourite for many of the locals and travellers alike, taking full advantage of the idyllic surroundings and views.
